Ultrasound Assessment & Guided Injections
Precision assessment and image-guided treatment for selected musculoskeletal conditions.
Musculoskeletal ultrasound can be used to assess selected joints, tendons, muscles and soft tissues as part of a clinical evaluation.
Ultrasound also allows the physician to visualize anatomical structures in real time when performing targeted injections. This can help improve the precision of treatment by guiding the needle to the intended area.
Depending on the diagnosis and individual clinical situation, ultrasound-guided treatment may include corticosteroid injections, PRP or other selected regenerative approaches when appropriate.
Before any procedure, the physician reviews the diagnosis, treatment options, expected benefits, potential risks and alternatives with the patient.
Not every musculoskeletal condition requires an injection. Treatment recommendations are based on the medical assessment, clinical findings and individual patient goals.
The goal is to use imaging and targeted treatment thoughtfully — selecting the appropriate intervention for the appropriate condition.
